The first session of a new young disabled people's project
Heads up – we are looking for young disabled people to join our brand new project, the Young Disabled People's Forum. There will be group sessions, a monthly social night and one-to-one sessions, all shaped by what YOU want to do.
Our first group session will be on Tuesday 3rd July, 6-8pm at GMCDP. It will be a chance for us to get to know each other, to get an idea of what the project is all about and to tell us what you would like to do over the next few months.
Some of our planned activities over the next few months include mask making, t-shirt design and making, self-defence and assertiveness, drama, healthy living and trips out. We are open to suggestions about what you want to try out, learn and experience.
If you have any access requirements, let us know and we will make arrangements for you. We can also reimburse accessible transport for you.
